ABOUT MICHELLE
Michelle Currie makes musical magic that's been stopping people in their tracks for nearly two decades. With a gutsy, soulful voice and fingers that fly across the ivories at dizzying speed, nobody sings the blues like the lady with the flaming red hair. She's also got a repertoire of pop, rock, gospel, jazz and the best of Broadway that will make you want to sing along. And make sure you sing. Whether you chime in with the crowd or have the courage to go solo, Michelle will make you feel like a pro. And when the chorus subsides, you'll be sure to be blown away when she belts out one of her oft-requested signature songs.
Michelle is best known for her work at some of New England's premier piano bars, including the fabulous Front Porch in Ogunquit, Maine where you can enjoy great food, sparkling company and of course teriffic music!

PERFORMANCES At Last, Michelle's one-woman cabaret show, was nominated for a prestegious IRNE Award (Independent Reviewers of New England) for best female cabaret performer in 2005. In addition, Michelle has performed all over New England in benefits, showcases and Cabaret Revues, including Forest for the Trees at Emerson's Cutler Majestic Theatre.
EVENTS AND PARTIES
Michelle brings her unique brand of music to a variety of private parties, events and celebrations as well. Weddings, cocktail parties, parades, fundraisers, talent showcases, fashion shows and even funerals - Michelle will work with you to create the perfect musical atmosphere no matter what the occassion.

Michelle is featured on several cuts on A Seam of Song, and Halleluja, CDs showcasing musicians who from the lovely Union Church in Biddeford Pool, Maine. All proceeds from the CDs benefit Union Church's nondenominational mission to create a loving, supportive and joyful community in Biddeford Pool and beyond.
